Welcome to your TFL Device

To get started, follow the steps below:

Sign in to your account

Sign in to your account using the login credentials provided in your welcome email.

TFL is a GPS-tracking and fleet-management website that allows you to monitor your vehicle, trailer, person, animal, or any asset—known as units—in real-time.

User menu

The User menu is located in the top-right corner of the screen, displaying the name of the currently signed-in user.

To see a unit’s sensor values and parameters, hold the pointer over the unit on the map.

Editing a unit name

1. Go to the Units pane.

2. Find the unit, and then click the Edit button.

3. In the General pane, rename the unit, and then click OK.

Adding a user

By creating a new user with a unique name (login), password, and certain access rights, the user can log in to TFL and control the required units, reports, notifications, geofences and more.

1. Click Users.

2. Click New.

3. Fill in the required fields. Be sure to use a strong password.

4. To give the user access rights to other users, units, resources, and more, in the Access pane, select the unit and select the access rights you want to give the user.

Reports

You can generate reports of unit activity in the Reports tab. You can view it in the browser or export reports to a variety of formats (.csv, .xls, etc.).

The Reports pane contains four sections:

Parameter adjustments in the upper-left corner of the screen.
The map or table displays in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Report templates in the lower-left corner of the screen
Note: This section changes to the navigation bar when a report is generated.
Any generated report, table, chart, or image displays in the lower-right corner of the screen.

The right sections can be resized in width and height, while the left sections can be resized in width only. The map will collapse shut automatically if shrunk to less than 10% of the screen. It can be reopened by clicking the line under the top panel.

Each report created can be saved as a template for future use.
